Aaron Judge’s 2022 run at Roger Maris’s AL record played out over weeks, with a new milestone every few days. A chase measured against 1961 deserved to look like 1961, not another stat graphic. I drew from vintage newspapers and midcentury ballpark scorecards and program covers, turning every homer into a new edition: story cards in the FOX Sports app and on social, and six article inlines reissued as the count moved.
